Community Agreements

Community Agreements

Terms, Conditions & Community Agreements

As a woman in business, and as someone who is either training or deepening their skills in women’s leadership or facilitation, these agreements are here not only to establish healthy boundaries and cultivate a safe, trustworthy space—but also to serve as a model for your own work. They offer a foundation you may wish to draw from when developing Community Agreements within your own circles, communities, and professional settings.

Many women and especially those working in creative, holistic, and caregiving fields, are frequently expected to absorb the impact when others’ circumstances shift. These agreements are designed to challenge that expectation by honouring the time, energy, and commitment required to bring meaningful work into the world.

Behind every small business are real people with ongoing costs, responsibilities, and a deep investment in their craft. Whether you are a creative, musician, artist, writer, therapist or holistic practitioner, you may be familiar with the idea that your work is somehow open to negotiation in a way that other professions are not. This is not the case here.

Payment & Refund Policy

* Refunds are not available.

* Course materials are accessible from the moment of enrolment, and for this reason, deposits and payments are non-refundable.

* Payment plans are offered with trust and generosity. It is essential that these are honoured so that they remain available for others in future.

We understand that life brings unexpected challenges. In cases of bereavement, serious illness, or accident, we are open to compassionate dialogue. These will be considered exceptional circumstances.

Accountability & Participation

You receive from this work what you are willing and able to contribute. Please enter any course or training with realistic expectations, and a sense of personal responsibility.

* 100% attendance is required for the in-person immersion weekend in order to receive certification.

* This is a teacher training: it is not only informational but experiential. If you do not engage with and embody the teachings, you cannot pass them on in integrity.

* The process begins the moment you sign up.

Privacy & Sacred Space

We are committed to co-creating a space of trust and safety. Confidentiality is essential. Please do not share any personal stories, names, or details of your peers’ experiences outside of our group container.

Compassion, Empathy & Livelihood

We are all navigating complex lives—as caregivers, mothers, creatives, professionals, and human beings. I meet this reality with full empathy and understanding.

Please also hold in mind that this is not a side project or hobby—it is my full-time work and livelihood. It is how I support myself, my family, and continue to offer this work in the world.

If your circumstances change after enrolment and you are no longer able to continue, I understand. But I kindly ask that you also understand: I must still be paid for the course materials, time, and preparation already provided.

A Wider Impact

You are welcome to use and adapt these Terms, Conditions, and Community Agreements in your own offerings. Together, we can create a wider ripple of integrity, clarity, and respect for women, creatives, healers, and small business owners whose work is too often undervalued.

Thank you for reading.

Warmly,

Kitty Maguire
